Ein englischer Radiosender sucht nach neuen englischen Worten. Die Anrufer müssen ihr Wort nennen und anschließend einen Satz konstruieren, in dem ihr Wort vorkommt.
Erster Anrufer: “Hello”
Moderator: “Hello, who’s there?”
Anrufer: “John Willson.”
Moderator: “Well John, what’s your word?”
Anrufer: “My word is go’an’.”
Moderator: “Let’s look in the dictionary. Well it’s not in there. So your sentence?”
Anrufer: “Go’an’ screw yourself.”
Ein paar Anrufer später.
Moderator: “Who’s there?”
Anrufer: “Alfred Jackson.”
Moderator: “Well Alfred, what’s your word?”
Anrufer: “‘sme.”
Moderator: “Let’s look it up in the dictionary. Ok it’s not in there. So your sentence please.”
Anrufer: “‘sme again. Go’an’ screw yourself.”
